Hier ein Beispiel für die Kombination von ifdraft und tagging. Grundsätzlich würde ifdraft für viele Zwecke ausreichen, tagging bietet aber ein sauberes Interface und einige zusätzliche Befehle.

\usepackage[]{tagging}
\ifdraft{\usetag{draft}}{\usetag{final}}
